Conducting an initial Kickoff Conference will be an important first step in the formation of a Student Success Consortium that consists of representation from any schools or community youth organizations focused on helping teens to achieve greater academic, personal, and career success within their community. The consortium may also consider holding an annual event for members to come together to interact and showcase strategies that produced positive results in their community.
Below is an example of a two-hour agenda that represents topics that can help provide consortium participants with the information and resources they need to return to their offices prepared to facilitate the development of a meaningful student success initiative within their respective organizaion:
