Make a Tax-Deductible Donation and Support the “Adopt-a-School, Help-a-Child Succeed” Campaign
The Adopt-a-School, Help-a-Child Succeed campaign is intended to provide financial assistance to interested stakeholders within communities who are committed to helping engage teens and directly affect their success. Every "Adopt-a-School, Help-a-Child Succeed dollar donated will go directly toward providing an It's Your Decision for Teens or the Keys to Be Life Ready guidebooks into the hands of every student.
Financial support from local community-based organizations, parent groups, nonprofits, businesses, associations, or any concerned individual will be welcomed.
How Contributing Will Help Your Local Youth
Your contribution will be used to provide area youth with the tools they need to personalize their school experience in such a way as to address their individual interests, needs, goals, and academic abilities and to help empower them to accept responsibility for determining their own destiny. Ultimately, it is critical to the success of any community that its young people become better prepared to make the kind of important decisions that result in the achievement of their academic and career goals so they can better serve their communities in more positive ways.
Donations Will Support Regional Student Success Consortium Participants or Schools and Community Youth Organizations in Communities Without a Consortium
Only schools and community youth organizations that have made a definite commitment to Creating a Culture of Student Success within their community will be deemed eligible to receive financial support from the Adopt-a-School, Help-a-Child Succeed initiative.
Funding Based On Enrollment
Funding will not be on a competitive basis. Instead the amount of financial support any school or community youth organization receives will be identified based on their enrollment and the number of students who will be provided materials.
Select the School or Organization and the Amount to Donate
Contributors will be able to select a specific school or community organization that they would like to assist. The actual dollar amount received will be calculated based on the cost of materials of $7.00 per participating youth.
Contribution Recognition
Adopt-a-School, Help-a-Child Succeed contributors will be identified and publicized within their community as an organization or individual who actively promotes and supports the Creating a Culture of Student Success initiative.
Contributors will also be recognized:
- at Local School Board meetings
- by choosing to attend annual conferences organized by area Student Success Consortiums
- on the Partners for Cultures of Student Success, Inc. web page list of supportive partners
- and in the Partners for Cultures of Student Success Annual Report
